Happy Monday...

Not Me, Monday!

I did not have a great time at work last night, saying "that's what she said" about a hundred times to my co-workers, and laughing my bootay off each and every time they said it back.

I did not have lustful thoughts toward Edward all weekend long. I am not counting down the days 'til Friday.

I do not have a Twilight addiction.

My sweet four-year-old did not call me a "butthole". I did not then smack his mouth and make him stand with his nose in the corner. My children would never use such language.

I am not using a funny email as the main part of my post today. I am not that lazy or unoriginal.

Have a great Monday, y'all!

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2008 when...

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.
6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.
7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.
8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.
10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.
11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )
12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.
14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list.

AND NOW YOU ARE LAUGHING at yourself.

Ha ha, I like that, and it is all sooo true. So, yeah I did notice there wasn't a #9, not sure how that happened but I did. Sometimes I am just weird like that. Have a good week and tell that four year old he better be nice or Aunt Chelle will not bring Mac N Cheese next week. Wonder where he picked up that term? See what happens when they start school, all your hard work goes right down the drain.

Cute lists of Not Me and WOW I am embarrassed to say that I'm all over that 2008 thing. I haven't had my coffee yet and I'm commenting on your blog. Yikes!

I know one time when "That's what she said!" won't be uttered.

Friday night.

'Cause if you're anything like me, you'll be sitting in rapt silence...with a few squeals, sighs, and at least one episode of melting in the movie seat.

Yep.

I considered a Not Me Monday post last week after I got home from a weekend away with my book club. Because they constantly said that I could NOT blog about these things. That what happens in Asheville, Stays in Asheville. Ruined all my fun :-)

And the cell phone thing. About two years ago, I locked my keys in the car. Along with my purse and cell phone. I had NO freakin' idea what my own husband's number was at work. It was a pretty humorous attempt to borrow someone's phone and try to figure it all out!

Great post!! Love that e-mail!

I have not, NOT, done #6!!

I wouldn't say posting that email is lazy. I mean, you had to copy and paste! GEEZ...come on!!

BTW...glad we got to talk the other night. Good times!! Hey, Jess and I are planning a BD's Extravaganza on Nov 24th at 4pm or later, if you'd like to come. Just FYI.

I do not have a Twilight addiction, either.

I am going to the 7p.m. showing on Friday night... but I am NOT considering getting a ticket for the 9:45 p.m. showing as well, so I can see it twice in a row.

Nope, not me!
