It might be the lack of sunshine and vitamin D.
It might be the snow and ice surrounding me, making my hands and feet cold and numb.
It might be the fact that we are only halfway through winter.
Whatever it is, this time of year almost always sends me searching for "beach photos" on Google.
Dream with me:
warm sand...
soft waves lapping at our toes...
hot rays of sun bronzing our skin...
well, it makes me feel a little bit better, at least.

The only good thing about these dreary winter days is how much they make you appreciate the sun and warmth when they finally return!

That picture is gorgeous! Although, I must admit that I'm a winter loving kind of gal. I actually enjoy the dreary cold days. I know, I'm in the minority. However, I can appreciate the beauty of the warm sun and a tropical beverage in hand while sitting by the pool!
I keep getting these Living Social emails with deals for vacations to Mexico and Costa Rica and Belize and all these amazing, beautiful sunny places with crystal clear water and white sand and it is driving me a little crazy because I want to go there so bad. I think I could get through the rest of winter if I could just get a long weekend lounging in the sun. Sigh. Guess I should start buying lottery tickets.
Man, I need some sunshine baaaad!
