I love decorating for fall, almost as much as for Christmas. Isabel and I had a great time pulling out all of the boxes of pumpkins and witches and ghosts and setting them up carefully inside and out of the house.
Welcome to our little corner of the pumpkin patch:
This spring, you may remember that Isabel planted an herb garden of her own. We recently started drying some of the lavender, rosemary and sage in the kitchen; I think we may freeze a bit of it, too, to use this Thanksgiving.
We have yet to visit a real pumpkin patch this fall, but are hoping to next week. I'm looking forward to getting our family pictures done on Saturday...we haven't had a family picture in over five years, and it's time!

Fall...ahh - my favorite time of year - if only for the decorations.
LOVE!!! HOpefully next year we can decorate for fall - I don't see it happening this year.
