Jumping for joy!

One regret that I have in only having one daughter is that she will never experience the kind of sisterly fun that I had growing up with three older sisters.

I am so grateful that one of my sisters, Rhonda, has two daughters that are close to Isabel's age, and who worship the ground that she walks on (much like I did with my sisters).

We don't see each other as often as I would like, but when we do, these girls of ours have the best time together.

In this season of recognizing and being grateful for our blessings, I am grateful for close cousins, beautiful fall days, and a camera to capture the memories of a great day spent together.

She is so lucky. I am an only girl and I missed out on having that sisterly relationship. But I am very thankful for my bestest BFF in the world. She's like my sister from another mother.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

That's wonderful. But, just know that even if she had sisters (I have 2) that doesn't mean she'd have any kind of a relationship with them. I don't, never did.
I'm glad that she has a close bond with her cousins - that's very special!!

Hey, friend! I have missed you! Sorry I have not visited many blogs lately - I was overwhelmed with life for a bit.

Anyway, I so get what you say about your daughter not having a sister. I also have one girl and two boys (as you know) but while I know our family is the way God wanted it to be, I also wish Sarah had the opportunity to have a sister. I didn't have one but always wanted one and I guess I just wanted one for her, too!

Your daughter is absolutely stunning.

Hope you are well, dear one!

Beautiful, beautiful girls!

It is one of the things that makes me sad about the prospect of having an only child. And she has no cousins that are close in age. I hope to help fill the void with playmates, it probably won't be the same, but its all I can do.

Yes, one of the reasons we decided to have a third was to try for a sister for N. because I've always wanted one. As much as I LOVE being a mom to boys, I'm sad for her. Really hoping my brother has a girl or two to fill this role like your Isabel has!

As someone with two sisters, I feel awfully sad that my daughter won't grow up with one. However, she does have lots of girl cousins, and I am counting on them to make her jump for joy plenty in her life!

Beautiful shots -- did you get your new camera?
