Many of my friends and family are still without power. Now much of Butler County is under a "boil water advisory". That definitely sucks on a normal day, but... how are you supposed to boil your water when you HAVE NO POWER? Oh, those poor people.
And here I sit, blogging and sipping hot coffee while I am surrounded by the remnants of this disaster. My kids are enjoying another day off of school due to "unsafe road conditions" (still power lines down in the roads in some neighborhoods). Life for us is getting right back to normal, and I am feeling so guilty. I have offered my house and food to those that need it, but everyone wants to save their gas and not drive too far (the lines at the gas stations that do have power are a mile long). So I pray, and save my gas, and hope that life can go on for the loved ones in my life soon.

That totally sucks. Glad you are trying to help.
The lack of gas is a scarey thing isn't it?
It's really wonderful of you to have opened your doors to others.
Still no electricity? That is horrible.
I went to Kingsport (TN) today to run errands and it's all chilly and dreary and Autumnish here. I LOVE IT!
So scary. I have lots of family down there, none effected horribly, they are more inland. Many prayers going up for the families that are in need!
